THE SAMARITAN BY JOHN LARAThe Samaritan, is a play that tells the story of two students in maracas municipality who develop a mobile App called The Samaritan-an online platform for whistleblowing as well as sharing ideas and information enhancing public welfare. Soon, the App is flooded with damning information about the unparalleled corruption, malfeasance and political capture perpetrated by Maracas municipal leader. The app allows Maracas people to share information about corruption in their municipality and ideas that enhance public welfare. The traction from the app makes the political heads quite worried and they are determined to take it down in whichever possible way.
